Garden Tips

Picture
Tip#1   Gardens do best when located in a flat, sunny location with rich well drained soil.

Tip #2  Optimum growing conditions for a vegetable garden to thrive include compost, a south-facing exposure and at least six hours of sunlight each day.

Tip #3 Don’t bite off more than you can chew.  Start with a garden size that is manageable, cost within your budget and you are able to easily maintain.

Tip #4 This will help ensure success and enjoyment gardening.  You can always go a little bigger next year.  If the garden is too big and becomes a chore you will quickly lose interest.

Tip #5  The most important contribution you can make to your garden’s overall success is the annual addition of compost!
